The Dubai Charity Association has signed a cooperation agreement with the "Permanent Committee for Workers' Affairs" in the Emirate of Dubai, as part of the joint efforts by both parties to strengthen their collaboration, establish a common framework to adopt initiatives, and coordinate efforts to care for workers, improve their conditions, and provide them with a dignified life.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Dubai Charity Association by His Excellency "Ahmed Al Suwaidi," the Executive Director of the Association, and on behalf of the Permanent Committee for Workers' Affairs by His Excellency Lieutenant General "Obaid Mehair Bin Surour," Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and Chairman of the Committee.
The agreement aims to enhance social solidarity in order to provide support and the best services for workers in Dubai, creating a more stable environment for them, ensuring their active participation in the national development journey. Under the agreement, the Dubai Charity Association will collaborate with The Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs to provide necessary assistance to workers in various fields and facilitate the repatriation procedures for workers who are unable to afford the costs of returning to their home countries.
On this occasion, His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Dubai Charity Association, said: "We are proud to sign this agreement, which brings us together with the Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs in Dubai around shared values of humanity, solidarity, and charity work.
