Dubai Charity Association has announced receiving a donation of AED 299,000 from the Endowments and Minors’ Trust Foundation to fund the construction of four endowment mosques, named "Hamel Bin Khadem Al Ghaith", in India.
His Excellency Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary-General of the Endowments and Minors’ Trust Foundation, handed over a cheque for the amount to Khalid Al Olama, Board Member and General Secretary of Dubai Charity Association, in the presence of Ghaith Hamel bin Khadem Al Ghaith, at the foundation’s headquarters.
This donation comes as part of the joint efforts between the foundation and the association to promote charitable and humanitarian work and expand initiatives that serve Muslim communities worldwide.
Mr. Khalid Al Olama, Board Member and General Secretary of Dubai Charity Association, expressed his deep appreciation for the fruitful and constructive collaboration with the Endowments and Minors’ Trust Foundation. He emphasized that the strategic partnership between the association and the foundation reflects a shared vision to serve communities and promote the values of solidarity and compassion.
Mr. Khalid Al Olama stated that this donation for the construction of mosques in India represents an investment in spreading the principles of Islam, strengthening religious and cultural ties among Muslims, and making a meaningful impact on individuals and communities. He noted that the new mosques will be built in different regions across India and will be equipped with modern facilities and services to meet the needs of worshippers.
