His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, expressed his deep gratitude and sincere appreciation—on behalf of the Board of Directors and all staff of the Association—to Dubai Islamic Bank for this generous initiative. He praised the strong and historic strategic partnership that links the Association with the bank. He added: “This generous support from Dubai Islamic Bank is not merely a financial donation, but a true investment in the future of underprivileged individuals and families in our community. Over the years, this strategic partnership has enabled us to achieve significant accomplishments in the field of social care, and we are confident that this new donation will further enhance our ability to expand our programs and reach more beneficiaries.”

The Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association stated that this generous initiative by Dubai Islamic Bank is part of the bank’s Zakat funds, which it is committed to paying and allocating to Emirati charitable institutions. This is in line with the bank’s annual policy and tradition, which contribute to the sustainability of charitable work and support comprehensive community development. It stems from the bank’s sense of social responsibility and its commitment to the noble teachings of Islam, which promote solidarity and compassion.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi emphasized that this amount will be utilized with the highest levels of efficiency and transparency to ensure that Zakat funds reach those who are truly in need. It will help meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable groups, such as financially disadvantaged patients, widows, orphans, divorced women, people of determination, students struggling to pay their tuition fees, and low-income families, enabling them to live with dignity. He also praised the pioneering role of Dubai Islamic Bank as a leading national financial institution and a model of social responsibility, encouraging other organizations to follow this noble example to create a tangible positive impact in society.

This initiative stands as a testament to the fruitful cooperation between financial institutions and charitable organizations in Dubai and reflects the spirit of solidarity that characterizes Emirati society.
