His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, stated:
“Our participation in DIHAD 2025 stems from the Association’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and partnerships with various humanitarian and relief organizations, both locally and internationally. We believe that this event serves as an important platform for exchanging expertise and knowledge, and for showcasing best practices in the humanitarian field, in a way that supports our shared aspirations to provide optimal assistance to those in need.
His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi praised the DIHAD Conference and Exhibition, describing it as the largest humanitarian platform in the region and the world, bringing together decision-makers from various active humanitarian entities with the aim of shedding light on humanitarian issues and enhancing avenues of cooperation to build a better future. He noted that DIHAD has upheld the banner of humanity for two decades, offering studies, research, and working papers that enrich professionals engaged in humanitarian and relief projects. These contributions address topics such as conflict, the evolution of humanitarian principles, the changing landscape of funding, globalization and localization, climate change, population displacement, and the discussion of the “Charter for the Future” and its impact on the humanitarian aid and development ecosystem.
Dubai Charity, through its presence at such a leading global platform, seeks to strengthen engagement and vital partnerships with participating humanitarian organizations, reaffirm its unwavering commitment to supporting humanitarian and relief efforts, and enhance the UAE’s role as a global hub for charitable and humanitarian work.
