The Dubai Charity Association organized a special ceremony to honor its strategic partners for the year 2024, recognizing their significant contributions to the charity’s mission and humanitarian goals. The event took place at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City Conference Center, attended by prominent figures, ministry heads, officials from various governmental and charitable organizations, as well as members of the media.
The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by a welcoming speech from Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, the CEO of Dubai Charity Association. He stated, “We are delighted to meet with you today to express our pride in our collaboration and partnership, and to extend our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support. Your contributions have been pivotal in advancing Dubai Charity’s mission and promoting its global humanitarian message, in line with the aspirations of our wise leadership to enhance the UAE’s role in regional and international humanitarian forums.”
Mr. Al Suwaidi added, “At Dubai Charity, we believe in the importance of strengthening collaboration with all sectors, whether public, semi-public, or private, through strategic partnerships that facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices. Our goal is to implement innovative models that support the UAE Centennial Vision, fostering sustainability and progress.”
During the event, a short film was presented, highlighting the journey of Dubai Charity Association over the past decade. The film showcased various projects spanning sectors like education, healthcare, water, food security, economic empowerment, and social care. These initiatives have benefited over 50 million people in the UAE and 38 countries worldwide. The film was well-received, with attendees applauding the impactful role of the association in humanitarian work.
The association also announced the launch of its Smart Virtual Assistant to enhance donor interaction with its services. Additionally, they introduced a Metaverse Donation Platform, enabling users to make donations effortlessly online. The association also rolled out smart donation boxes, now available in government offices, shopping malls, and other public spaces in Dubai to promote a culture of giving.
The ceremony concluded with Mr. Mustafa Karam, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi inviting partners on stage to honor them for their extensive support. This recognition serves as a gesture of gratitude for their invaluable contributions to the association’s charitable journey.
