As part of its efforts to uplift the younger generation and enrich their human experiences, Dubai Charity Association has announced its support for the "Tabtum wa Taba Mamshakum" initiative. Organized by the Ministry of Family, the initiative includes a journey for a group of Emirati children to perform Umrah, taking place from July 6 to 12. The aim is to provide them with a unique opportunity for spiritual growth and meaningful learning through a profound faith-based experience

This came during the coordination meeting for the initiative, held at the Ministry of Family headquarters in Ajman. The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdulaziz Ibrahim, Head of Community Integration at the Ministry of Family; Mr. Khalid Al Shehhi, Family Rights Protection Specialist at the Ministry; Mr. Adel Matar, Board Member of Dubai Charity Association; along with 12 participating youth aged between 13 and 18, in addition to the supervisory team.
The meeting introduced the journey’s itinerary, the Ministry’s role, and the preparations underway to implement the initiative, which is being organized for the second consecutive year.

On this occasion, Mr. Adel Matar, Board Member of Dubai Charity Association, praised the fruitful and constructive cooperation with the Ministry of Family in ensuring the success of this initiative. He stated:
"At Dubai Charity Association, we firmly believe that genuine partnership between government, private, and charitable institutions is the cornerstone of sustainable development in any society. We see ourselves as key partners in shaping the future of our children — not only by providing financial support, but also by creating opportunities that nurture their character and enrich their spirit

Mr. Adel Matar added:"Exposing children to such spiritual experiences at an early age plays a significant role in shaping their balanced personalities. It teaches them patience, tolerance, discipline, and a sense of responsibility toward themselves and their community. Through their interactions during this journey, they will learn the values of giving and compassion, and return with unforgettable memories and valuable life lessons. This journey will serve as a positive turning point in their lives, illuminating their paths with the light of faith and instilling in them a deep pride in their identity.

This fruitful collaboration between the Ministry of Family and Dubai Charity Association stands as a testament to the shared vision of institutions in the United Arab Emirates to build a cohesive and interconnected society. It reflects a unified commitment to providing the nation’s youth with the best opportunities and empowering them to reach their fullest potential across all areas of life.
