A group of youth, aged between 13 and 18, departed from Sharjah International Airport, heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the rituals of Umrah.
This blessed journey comes as part of the second edition of the " Tabtum wa Taba Mamshakum" initiative, a fruitful collaboration between the Ministry of Family, as the organizing body, and Dubai Charity Association, as the main sponsor
This noble humanitarian initiative aims to introduce the twelve participating youth to the importance of religious rituals and to deepen their understanding of the core values of Islam—such as tolerance, compassion, generosity, and respect for others.
It also seeks to strengthen both their national and religious identity by connecting them to their cultural and spiritual roots, contributing to the development of a well-balanced identity that embraces both authenticity and modernity.
A comprehensive program has been prepared for the group, tailored to the children's age group to ensure a safe and enriching experience.
The delegation is accompanied by a team of educational and administrative supervisors from the Ministry of Family and Dubai Charity Association, in addition to a religious guide, to ensure the children’s safety and provide them with the necessary guidance throughout the pilgrimage and various activities.
The journey is not limited to its spiritual aspect; it also includes educational visits to historical sites in Makkah and Madinah, aiming to introduce the youth to the rich history and great heritage of Islam.
For their part, the departing youth expressed their overwhelming joy and eagerness to perform Umrah.
