H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Benin, received a delegation from Dubai Charity Association headed by Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Association. The delegation also included Mr. Mahmoud Sahlabji, Director of Resource Development; Eng. Wissam Aribi, Head of External Affairs Department; and Eng. Ahmed Al Tayeb from the Projects Department.
The visit comes as part of the delegation’s inspection tour covering several West African countries.
During the meeting, ways of cooperation between the Embassy and the Association were discussed to implement development and humanitarian projects in the Republic of Benin, in line with the needs of local communities and in support of the Sustainable Development Goals
The current visit of the Association’s delegation to Benin comes as part of its tour, which also includes Burkina Faso and Ghana, with the aim of inspecting and following up on the progress of charitable, humanitarian, and development projects implemented and funded by the Association in these countries.
This tour underscores the Association’s continued commitment to supporting underprivileged communities and improving their living conditions across various parts of the African continent.
Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to H.E. the Ambassador and the Embassy staff for their warm welcome and the logistical support provided to the delegation, which facilitated their mission to monitor and supervise projects on the ground.
He affirmed that the Association continues to implement its strategy aimed at expanding its impactful projects serving the sectors of education, health, water, and relief in the targeted African countries.
