This comes as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian and relief support amid the extremely difficult humanitarian conditions they are experiencing.

The event, held at Zayed University – Dubai Campus, witnessed remarkable public turnout and community engagement, with more than 600 volunteers from various segments of Emirati society and residents across the UAE participating.

The event was inaugurated by Eng. Adel Al Suwaidi, Board Member, Treasurer, and Director of Operations at Dubai Charity Association, and Mr. Khalid Al Olama, Board Member and General Secretary of the Association. Both officials inspected the workflow and praised the volunteers’ strong spirit of altruism and humanitarian dedication.

The event also saw the notable presence of several social media influencers and media representatives, who helped shed light on this important charitable initiative.

The volunteers achieved a remarkable accomplishment in record time, successfully packing and sealing a total of 2,500 comprehensive relief parcels. These included essential food supplies, basic household necessities, and medical and first-aid materials, all prepared for shipment to the Gaza Strip to support the resilience of our people there and help alleviate their suffering.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, said:

“The ‘Packages of Goodness’ initiative comes as a swift response to the call of humanitarian duty. It reflects the noble values instilled in us by our wise leadership and aligns with our humanitarian mission and national responsibility to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza, who are enduring conditions that require collective efforts to meet their basic needs.

The Association had previously taken part in the ‘Gallant Knight 3’ operation by sending a large number of relief food parcels. We extend our gratitude to Zayed University and to all participants for their valuable contributions

The Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association added:“We are working in coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure that this aid reaches its destination as quickly as possible. We believe that supporting our brothers and sisters in these difficult circumstances reflects the spirit of solidarity that characterizes our nation, the United Arab Emirates, toward friendly and brotherly peoples. It also reinforces the UAE’s position as a leading country in humanitarian work and a global symbol of generosity and goodness.
