As part of its continuous commitment to humanitarian and national initiatives, Dubai Charity Association has announced a generous financial contribution of AED 1 million to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai. This support aims to assist residents in settling their legal status, thereby reducing financial burdens and encouraging them to take advantage of the initiative “Towards a Safer Society.”
This initiative, launched by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, focuses on addressing the situation of individuals whose visas have expired or who have overstayed, helping them restore stability and offering them a chance to live with dignity within the UAE.

The AED 1 million check was handed over at the Dubai Charity Association’s headquarters in Al Muhaisnah 2. The check was presented by Mr. Adel Mattar, a board member of the association, to Colonel Abdullah Ateeq, Deputy Assistant Director for Investigation Affairs at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
The event was attended by Mr. Khalid Abdulkarim Al Baloushi, Deputy Assistant Director of Financial Resources and Services, along with Abdullah Abdulaziz, Director of the Follow-up and Coordination Office at Dubai Charity Association.
