In his opening remarks at the exhibition, Mr. Khalid Al Olama expressed his appreciation to all partners, stating: ‘The “Tamkeen” initiative was launched to serve as a fundamental pillar in the fabric of this nation, embodying the values of our wise leadership that has placed human welfare at the forefront of its priorities. Were it not for the combined efforts of our supporting partners, and their belief in the importance of sustainability and community stability, the initiative would not have achieved what it has today.

Mr. Khalid Al Olama noted that this year’s ‘Tamkeen’ initiative has expanded the scope of its work and impact, with 44 productive Emirati families receiving professional training and qualification to enable them to develop their products and achieve sustainable economic value. The initiative also witnessed the graduation of 91 young Emirati men and women, following their successful completion of advanced training programs in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and English communication skills, with the aim of supplying the labor market with qualified national talent to support the UAE’s global competitiveness

For his part, Mr. Mustafa Karam, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Charitable Association, stated: ‘We take great pride in inaugurating the second edition of the “Tamkeen” exhibition and in our developmental partnership with our strategic partners, with the aim of making an effective contribution to supporting Emirati families across the economic, social, and living aspects. We seek to encourage family members to adopt productive ideas and enter the world of business through micro-enterprise initiatives, thereby enhancing stability and quality of life for all family members.

Mr. Mustafa Karam added: ‘Dubai Charity is working diligently to support productive families through the sponsorship and backing of purposeful programs. What the Association provides represents a message of awareness-building and a developmental boost to the skills and capabilities of beneficiary families, empowering them to set their feet on the path to success and supporting them until they achieve self-sufficiency and independence

The exhibition received widespread acclaim from attendees, who praised the high level of craftsmanship and excellence in the presentation and marketing of innovative products, affirming that the offerings of these families have surpassed conventional stereotypes. The exhibition also features a range of events and interactive activities, in addition to the distribution of valuable prizes to participants.
