Dubai Charity Achieves 7,000 Volunteer Hours with the Participation of 2,000 Volunteers During 2024 and 2025

Building on its firm commitment to supporting the volunteerism sector, Dubai Charity affirms that the strategic empowerment of volunteer work represents a key driving force in achieving sustainable community development and attaining the noble humanitarian goals it seeks.

Dubai Charity believes that volunteer work is the backbone of effective charitable and humanitarian action, and that investing in volunteer human capital is a direct investment in the quality of community life. The association places great emphasis on the volunteer sector, designing its programs to strengthen a sense of shared responsibility and enable active participation in the implementation of charitable and relief projects.

Data from Dubai Charity for the years 2024 and 2025 demonstrated a qualitative achievement, as the association successfully provided and facilitated approximately 7,000 volunteer hours across its various events and activities. More than 2,000 male and female volunteers took part in these field and administrative efforts, reflecting the broad base of community participation and the public’s trust in the association’s initiatives.

On this occasion, His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity, said: “The volume of volunteer hours achieved and the level of participation, which exceeded 2,000 volunteers in just two years, reflect our firm commitment to promoting a culture of volunteerism. This is clear evidence of the UAE community’s awareness of the importance of giving and generosity, and it underscores the effectiveness of our platforms in harnessing individuals’ energies and directing them toward serving noble humanitarian causes

His Excellency added: “At Dubai Charity, we consider volunteers to be strategic partners and an invaluable asset. Their contribution is not limited to logistical support alone; it extends to the transfer of expertise and knowledge, and to deepening the positive impact of our projects across the relief, education, and health sectors
