Dubai Charity Association has launched its seasonal Ramadan campaign for the year 1447 AH / 2026 AD under its renewed slogan “Goodness Endures.” The campaign unveils a comprehensive agenda of charitable initiatives and projects aimed at achieving a tangible, positive impact on the lives of more than 2.5 million beneficiaries within the United Arab Emirates, in addition to 31 countries around the world—embodying the values of generosity and human compassion.

Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, stated:“This year’s campaign is a true reflection of Dubai Charity’s commitment to sustaining humanitarian impact, inspired by the visionary guidance of our wise leadership, which has made the UAE a global beacon of giving. The campaign’s slogan, ‘Goodness Endures,’ carries a dual message: reassurance to beneficiaries that support is ongoing, and pride for donors that their contributions are transformed into a lasting impact that strengthens family stability and supports community empowerment

This was announced during the press conference held by Dubai Charity Association in the Celebration Hall at its headquarters in Al Muhaisnah 2, attended by Mr. Adel Mattar, Member of the Board of Directors of Dubai Charity Association, and Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Association, with the participation of a select group of department directors and organizational unit heads, alongside a large gathering of representatives from various media outlets.

The Association’s Executive Director explained that this year’s Ramadan projects roadmap is embodied in five main initiatives: Iftar for Fasting Persons, Goodness Coupon, Orphan Sponsorship, Zakat Al-Fitr, and Zakat Al-Mal. The campaign’s geographical scope extends across the United Arab Emirates and 31 other countries, implemented through collaborative efforts with 50 external partner organizations. Through its comprehensive humanitarian vision, the campaign aims to benefit more than 2.5 million people both locally and internationally.

He noted that the “Goodness Coupon” project aims to deliver support to approximately 12,500 beneficiaries within the country, and more than 83,000 beneficiaries at the international level. As for the “Iftar for Fasting Persons” initiative, the campaign has set an ambitious plan to distribute one million iftar meals locally and 285,000 meals abroad. In addition, the operational plans for the Zakat Al-Fitr project target 500,000 beneficiaries from families and those in need within the country.

Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi added that Dubai Charity Association adopts a sustainability-driven approach in implementing its initiatives, through a package of development projects aimed at addressing humanitarian and social needs in their comprehensive sense. These efforts vary to include the construction of religious and educational facilities such as mosques and Qur’an memorization centers, in addition to strengthening water security by drilling wells and extending water networks in areas affected by drought. The Association also places strong emphasis on empowering productive families, providing healthcare services, and building residential complexes for the most vulnerable groups.

In terms of child welfare, he affirmed that the Association sponsors 14,500 orphans within the country and abroad, noting that the targets of the current Ramadan campaign include the implementation of more than 9,900 humanitarian projects, led by mosque construction projects and the provision of water in the most affected areas.

Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi stated that Dubai Charity Association has established a comprehensive system of innovative digital solutions to facilitate contributions from donors and “Goodness Ambassadors.” He explained that the Association has introduced non-traditional donation channels, including accepting cryptocurrencies, in addition to launching an interactive platform in the Metaverse. The Association has also strengthened its digital presence through its website and mobile app, and deployed innovative smart donation kiosks in key locations across Dubai. This complements traditional channels such as bank transfers, credit cards, a network of Association representatives in shopping centers, and the call center. Additional channels include the Dubai Now app, the Platform (Jood), as well as payment methods via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and the Dubai Government Smart Portal.
