Dubai Charity Association organized a special celebration marking the 54th National Day of the United Arab Emirates at the association’s headquarters in Al Muhaisnah 2. The event blended Emirati heritage with festive activities that reflected a deep sense of belonging and pride in the nation’s journey of union, as well as appreciation and loyalty to the wise leadership that built this remarkable nation. It also expressed the community’s strong attachment to national identity and the achievements the country has accomplished.
The celebration served as a joyful gathering for the association’s family, attended by Mr. Mustafa Karam, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Adel Matar, Board Member; and Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, the Association’s CEO, along with department directors, section heads, and all staff members
The celebration began with a rich and diverse program held on the stage set up in the association’s front courtyard. Traditional performances were the main highlight of the event; the association organized a mini exhibition of vintage (classic) cars, while the “Wushahat Al Harbiya” troupe delivered a powerful live performance showcasing traditional Emirati arts.
A horse parade, presented by Al Kas Stables, featured an impressive show of purebred horses. The event also included an interactive henna art corner, along with cultural competitions, and attendees enjoyed a selection of dishes from the Emirati traditional kitchen.
On this special occasion, Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, CEO of Dubai Charity Association, stated:
"National Day is a moment to reflect on our country’s achievements and to renew our commitment to continue the journey of giving and prosperity under our wise leadership. As we celebrate the 54th National Day of our blessed nation, we draw inspiration from the founding fathers—foremost among them the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul—whose values of generosity, compassion, and kindness form the foundation of our existence and charitable work. This occasion is not merely a celebration of the past; it is a motivation for all of us to strengthen the UAE’s role as a global beacon of goodness and humanitarian action.
The association’s CEO added:"We have ensured that this celebration is comprehensive and deeply rooted in our heritage, serving as an invitation to everyone who considers the UAE their homeland to reinforce values of belonging, inclusivity, and national responsibility, and to strengthen the spirit of unity and the principles of collective action. At Dubai Charity, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide assistance to those in need, both locally and internationally, drawing inspiration for goodness from the heart of this generous nation.
