Dubai Charity announced the dispatch of the third batch of Umrah for new Muslims, comprising 46 newly guided pilgrims accompanied by a team of supervisory, preaching, and media staff, under the generous sponsorship and support of Awqaf Dubai

In a gesture reflecting the association’s commitment to providing direct support, Mr. Khalid Al Ulama, Secretary-General of Dubai Charity, and Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, the Executive Director, saw off the departing Umrah pilgrims from Dubai International Airport. They accompany the delegation throughout the journey in the Holy Land. This field participation aims to ensure that all the needs of the new pilgrims are met and to share these spiritually significant moments with them, embodying the leadership’s hands-on approach in Emirati charitable work.

This initiative is part of the educational and developmental programs that the association is keen to provide for new Muslims, aiming to integrate them into the Islamic community through direct spiritual experiences. It contributes to deepening their understanding of Islamic rituals and strengthening their principles of moderation and balance.

The journey was designed to be a comprehensive cultural and spiritual experience, including the accompaniment of specialized supervisors to teach the pilgrims how to perform the rituals accurately and smoothly, visits to historical sites in Mecca to connect them with Islamic history, and creating an environment of camaraderie among the new pilgrims to strengthen their sense of belonging to the Islamic community.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity, said:

"Organizing this journey serves as a message of affection and brotherhood that we send from Dubai to the new Muslims. At Dubai Charity, we believe that our role extends to providing spiritual and educational care that ensures the new Muslim gains a deep and comprehensive understanding of the rituals of their faith, helping them positively integrate into the community

The Executive Director of Dubai Charity added: "We highly value the strategic partnership and generous sponsorship of our colleagues at the Endowments and Estate Funds Department (Dubai Endowment), whose support reflects the cohesion of national institutions in the Emirate of Dubai. This collaboration represents a unique model of joint institutional work, where efforts are combined to serve humanity and reinforce the UAE’s position as a global center of giving, in line with the vision of our wise leadership.
