Dubai Charity Association has launched its Ramadan campaign for the year 1446 AH - 2025 AD under the theme " The goodness endure." The campaign's projects will be implemented in 21 countries and are expected to benefit over 2 million people within the UAE and beyond. This will rely on the anticipated donations and support from Ambassadors of Goodness, strategic partners, and their contributions to the campaign

This was announced during the press conference organized by Dubai Charity Association at its branch in Avenue Mall – Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. The event was attended by H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, the association’s CEO, along with a number of department and unit managers, as well as representatives from the media.

H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, CEO of the association, stated:“Dubai Charity Association places great importance on the Ramadan campaign "The goodness endure", as it is the most significant and largest campaign of the year. Its goal is to bring joy to as many beneficiaries as possible, both within the UAE and beyond. This reflects the association’s mission and approach to charitable and humanitarian work and contributes to the annual growth of humanitarian initiatives, in line with the vision set forth by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, in the ninth principle of the Fifty-Year Charter.”

H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi explained that the Ramadan campaign includes five main seasonal projects: Iftar sayem, Mir Ramadan, Orphan’s Joy, Zakat Al-Fitr, and Zakat Al-Mal. These projects will be implemented across 21 countries (the UAE and 20 other countries worldwide) in collaboration with 35 external partner organizations. The campaign is expected to benefit over 2 million people both within the UAE and abroad.

He pointed out that the Mir Ramadan project is expected to benefit 53,000 people within the UAE and 112,000 beneficiaries abroad. As for the Iftar sayem project, the target is to distribute 1 million Iftar meals within the UAE and 100,000 meals outside the country. Additionally, the Zakat Al-Fitr project aims to benefit 400,000 people both locally and internationally.

H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi added:"Dubai Charity Association carries out numerous sustainable charitable projects and initiatives that meet the diverse humanitarian, social, and Ramadan needs of beneficiaries on the ground during the days of the holy month. These include the construction of mosques, building and sponsoring orphanages, providing and extending water networks, drilling wells in drought-stricken countries and regions, building Quran memorization centers, enhancing educational projects, supporting income-generating projects for families, constructing clinics, providing healthcare for patients, building homes for the poor, and other humanitarian and development projects.

H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi pointed out that the association aims, during its Ramadan campaign, to build over 170 mosques and drill 2,000 wells in countries and regions suffering from drought.

H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi mentioned that the association has provided donors and Ambassadors of Goodness with a seamless environment for donation mechanisms through an integrated suite of innovative digital services on its website. These include donations via cryptocurrency, acquiring Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), offering a digital donation platform using Metaverse technology, in addition to the Dubai Charity app for smartphones. The association has also introduced smart donation kiosks, available at shopping malls, retail stores, gas stations, and other public places, as well as donations via credit cards or through the association's bank accounts, along with communication through its call center
