Dubai Charity Association has announced the launch of its Adahi Campaign for the year 1447 AH – 2026, as part of its efforts to strengthen the values of compassion and social solidarity, and to revive the noble Sunnah by honoring the ritual of sacrifice.
The campaign aims to provide sacrificial meat and Eid clothing for orphans and underprivileged families, alongside the implementation of the Substitute Pilgrimage project and a series of developmental initiatives. The campaign will continue until the blessed Eid Al-Adha
His Excellency Eng. Adel Al Suwaidi, Board Member and Treasurer of Dubai Charity Association, stated that the launch of the campaign coincides with the blessed days of the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah—days that Allah has elevated in status and in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than on any other days.
He called upon “ambassadors of goodness” to contribute generously to this campaign, emphasizing that it represents an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries inside the UAE and across nine countries around the world
Regarding operational targets, Eng. Adel Al Suwaidi explained that the association has developed an integrated plan for the slaughtering and distribution of sacrifices, aiming to reach approximately 15,000 beneficiaries within the UAE and 280,000 beneficiaries abroad.
To facilitate the fulfillment of this religious obligation, the association has provided donors with the option to appoint it as their representative in distributing the sacrifices, in accordance with the highest Sharia and logistical standards. The cost is set at AED 800 for sacrifices inside the UAE
