Dubai Charity Association announced the success of its impactful initiative “Gift it forward,” organized in collaboration with Dubai Holding Group and the Dubai Club for People of Determination, and supported by several brands. The initiative aimed to create a positive difference in the lives of more than 1,700 individuals, including orphans, underprivileged families, and people of determination
The initiative introduced a pioneering model in charitable work by transforming the concept of “assistance” into a “fully integrated shopping experience.” A dedicated hall was set up, featuring a wide range of essential supplies and modern products, allowing beneficiaries the freedom to choose what best meets their needs and aspirations in an atmosphere filled with warmth and appreciation.
The initiative was marked by precise organization based on a fully free shopping mechanism, where participating brands provided high-quality products, contributing to improving the beneficiaries’ quality of life and easing the burden on families.
In a statement regarding this initiative, His Excellency Eng. Adel Al Suwaidi, Board Member and Treasurer of Dubai Charity Association, said: “The ‘Gift it forward initiative is not merely the distribution of in-kind assistance; it is a true embodiment of our deep commitment to preserving human dignity, which lies at the core of our Emirati identity. At Dubai Charity, we have been keen to give our brothers and children from underprivileged families and people of determination the right to choose, transforming giving into a dignified shopping experience where each individual selects what suits them, just as we do with our own families
