As part of its ongoing initiatives to promote Islamic culture and reinforce ethical and educational values within the workplace, Dubai Charity's Community Awareness and Education Department organized the "Al-Nawawi's Forty Hadith Competition", dedicated to the association's employees and their families.
The competition reflects Dubai Charity's continued commitment to fostering a spiritually enriching work environment, strengthening bonds of brotherhood and family among its employees, and encouraging them to study the noble Prophetic Sunnah and apply its timeless principles in both their personal and professional lives.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Charity, emphasized that launching the Al-Nawawi's Forty Hadith Competition represents a true reflection of the association's vision to build an inspiring workplace that extends beyond professional excellence and is firmly rooted in strong spiritual and ethical values. He noted that Dubai Charity firmly believes investing in human capital is the cornerstone of its humanitarian mission and the key to expanding its positive and lasting social impact.
H.E. Al Suwaidi added: "The Forty Hadith of Imam Al-Nawawi represent some of the most comprehensive and profound sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), encompassing universal principles of ethics, human conduct, and social interaction. By engaging both our employees and their families, we seek to transform these noble teachings from knowledge into daily practice, positively influencing institutional performance while strengthening the spirit of giving and social responsibility in serving the community and advancing charitable work."
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and a healthy spirit of competition among employees. A specialized judging panel evaluated participants based on the accuracy of memorization as well as their understanding of the profound meanings and objectives embodied in the noble Prophetic traditions.
At the conclusion of the competition, H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi honored the participants during a celebratory ceremony that highlighted the outstanding spirit of initiative and excellence demonstrated throughout the event. Employees, in turn, expressed their sincere appreciation to the association's management for organizing this meaningful initiative, which they said plays an important role in strengthening institutional cohesion and fostering a positive workplace culture.
