"Dubai Charity" Concludes its Participation in DIHAD 2024 with a Workshop on Innovation Laws

The Dubai Charity Association concluded its participation in the 20th edition of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD 2024), held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, "God bless him," under the theme "Diplomacy and the Culture of Humanitarian Work... A Look Towards the Future." The event brought together prominent local and international organizations and institutions specializing in charitable and relief work for three days at the Dubai World Trade Centre to discuss and find solutions to sensitive humanitarian issues.

"Dubai Charity" participated exceptionally as the Golden Sponsor of the exhibition this year, under the theme of "Innovation and Sustainability in Charitable Work." This participation allowed visitors to review its electronic initiatives and services offered to stakeholders, especially its innovative smart collections and its platform on Metaverse, along with some humanitarian and relief projects implemented inside and outside the UAE with a focus on sustainable relief and development. The organization also had the honor of hosting numerous high-level delegations of humanitarian leaders, both locally and internationally.

"Dubai Charity" held a workshop titled "Laws of Innovation" on the final days of the exhibition, presented by the strategic expert Dr. Mohammed Saeed from the association. The workshop aimed to equip participants with essential innovation skills that contribute to improving their personal

and professional lives, focusing on the concept of the "importance of innovation" across all fields. It also emphasized the significance of the "service excellence" concept to ensure market leadership, including in the charitable and humanitarian sector. The workshop covered the laws of innovation and their practical application, with attendees engaging in exercises and puzzles to clarify the concept further

Dr. Mohammed Saeed emphasized that the constant and abrupt changes in society necessitate a change in charitable work as well. New challenges require new solutions, and innovation is necessary to bring about this change and envision a bright future for charitable work. However, achieving this requires more innovation, service excellence, and reliance on technology to find solutions, establish a more effective and efficient charitable sector. By working together and embracing new ideas, we can create a world where opportunities are available for everyone to thrive.

Dr. Saeed discussed the association's plan to use "Metaverse" to remotely monitor project implementation, enabling donors to track the progress of their projects and ensure real-time adherence to required standards. He also talked about intervening to make necessary adjustments when needed. He mentioned the technological advancement achieved by the association through the use of smart collections, allowing donors to donate using epay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, SMS, or through their bank accounts.
