Dubai Charity has begun providing 25,000 Iftar meals daily to fasting individuals from labor sectors and low-income groups within the country, reaching a total of 250,000 meals in the first third of the holy month. Outside the country, it has distributed 8,600 meals daily, with a total of 86,000 Iftar meals.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, emphasized that " Iftar sayem " is a key initiative within a series of humanitarian and social programs launched by Dubai Charity during the holy month of Ramadan. It is part of the association’s annual Ramadan campaign, " The goodness endure" benefiting hundreds of thousands of fasting individuals in the UAE and around the world. With broad charitable and humanitarian objectives, the initiative reflects a bright social scene in the UAE, where efforts, resources, and capabilities come together through the collaboration of government and private sector institutions, charitable organizations, and individuals.

The Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association stated: "The initiative to provide Iftar meals to fasting individuals from labor sectors and low-income groups has achieved great success and received wide support from donors and ambassadors of goodwill, as it is a cause close to their hearts.

Since the first day of Ramadan, the association has been distributing Iftar meals across 31 locations, including mosque courtyards, labor accommodations, and areas where workers are present in the Emirate of Dubai. This has been done in coordination with carefully selected and contracted kitchens, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards.

Additionally, the association is distributing Iftar meals to fasting individuals outside the UAE in 12 countries

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi explained that the Ramadan campaign includes four other key seasonal projects in addition to " Iftar sayem." These projects are Mir Ramadan, Orphan’s Joy, Zakat Al-Fitr, and Zakat Al-Mal, alongside the implementation of various sustainable charitable initiatives.

He also noted that the "Mir Ramadan" project has benefited more than 7,000 people within the country during the first third of the holy month.

The Executive Director of Dubai Charity stated that the association relies on Zakat Al-Mal, donations, and partner support to continue implementing the initiatives of its Ramadan campaign throughout the holy month.

He also emphasized the importance of the spirit of generosity, solidarity, and compassion that characterizes the UAE community, both citizens and residents. This spirit has been the driving force behind the association’s progress and success since its establishment, enabling it to extend a helping hand to beneficiaries and meet their living and financial needs during the blessed month.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the institutions and individuals who contributed to the success of the Ramadan campaign projects.

At the same time, he called on all benevolent individuals and supporters to continue their generosity in order to achieve and surpass the campaign’s goals. This, in turn, would serve as a pillar of support for the implementation of other charitable programs scheduled throughout the year.
