Dubai Charity Association announced the launch of its annual Education Support Campaign for the year 2025, under the slogan “'Alef-Baa'”. The campaign aims to empower future generations through the gateway of education and implement a package of educational projects and initiatives benefiting students of all age groups within the United Arab Emirates and six countries around the world
This year’s campaign focuses on providing comprehensive support for students to continue their education — starting from the most basic educational needs such as school supplies, to creating safe and fully equipped learning environments, including building schools and Quran memorization centers. The support also covers school uniforms, school bags, student aid packages, tuition fees for underprivileged students, provision of computers, and classroom equipment. The campaign particularly targets developing and disadvantaged communities that lack formal educational institutions, where children are often forced to study in unsuitable mud classrooms or under tree branches.
In a press statement, H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, said: “Education is not merely a fundamental right; it is the cornerstone upon which sustainable and prosperous societies are built. Through the ‘Alif Baa’ campaign, we reaffirm our steadfast commitment to empowering future generations both locally and globally. Our investment in education is an investment in a brighter future, as we believe that every child carries within them immense potential that can contribute to the advancement of their community.
The Executive Director of Dubai Charity expressed his gratitude to the benevolent partners and donors in our beloved UAE for their trust in the Association and their continuous support of its campaigns. He also extended his thanks to various media outlets and social media influencers for their valuable and ongoing efforts in raising awareness about Dubai Charity’s projects and other initiatives, particularly the “A Breeze of Goodness in the Summer Heat” campaign, which served as a window of hope and generosity for thousands of underprivileged families within the UAE and abroad. He further urged them to support the “Alif Baa” campaign to help achieve its goals and extend its impact to the largest possible number of beneficiaries.
Philanthropists and donors can contribute to the “Alif Baa” campaign through a variety of donation channels and Dubai Charity’s innovative digital services available on its website — such as donating via cryptocurrencies, purchasing Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and using a digital donation platform through the Metaverse. Contributions can also be made via Dubai Charity’s mobile application, through smart donation Kiosks placed in shopping malls, fuel stations, and other public spaces, or by using credit cards and the Association’s official bank accounts. In addition, donors may connect with the Association’s representatives at shopping malls or through the call center
