As part of its firm commitment to strengthening social solidarity and expanding the scope of its vital projects within the UAE, a delegation from Dubai Charity visited the office of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The delegation was headed by Mr. Mahmoud Sahlabji, Director of the Community Solidarity and Marketing Department at the association, and was received by His Excellency Obaid Humaid Al Zaabi, Director of the Authority’s office. The meeting aimed to build effective bridges of cooperation between both parties in service of the Houses of Allah and to meet the aspirations of worshippers.

The meeting featured discussions focused on assessing the actual needs for mosques across various areas of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, with both parties emphasizing the identification of the most vital locations and those in greatest need of constructing places of worship. The two sides also reviewed mechanisms for joint coordination to ensure the implementation of these projects in line with the highest standards, keeping pace with the emirate’s urban and population growth, and reflecting the spirit of strategic partnership between charitable organizations and official entities to achieve comprehensive community service objectives

This step gains exceptional significance as it coincides with the “Mosque Construction” campaign recently launched by Dubai Charity—an initiative that reflects the organization’s philosophy of reinforcing the values of giving and opening avenues for benefactors to contribute to the development of mosques

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties affirmed that this coordination represents a cornerstone in achieving sustainability for religious and charitable projects, contributing to the provision of a well-prepared spiritual environment for worshippers across the emirate, in line with the UAE’s pioneering humanitarian approach.
