Dubai Charity reaches 1.6 million beneficiaries inside and outside the country through its Al Adahi Campaign projects

Dubai Charity Association has announced the remarkable success and impactful humanitarian achievements of its annual Al Adahi Campaign for 1447 AH – 2026 AD. The campaign’s outreach extended to approximately 1.6 million beneficiaries within the UAE and across 8 countries worldwide. Its objectives included the distribution of sacrificial meat and providing Eid clothing for orphans, low-income families, widows, and people of determination, in addition to a comprehensive package of accompanying development and humanitarian projects.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all donors, charity partners, and community members who generously supported the campaign. He also praised the dedicated efforts of the association’s teams, as well as the strategic plans and well-structured organizational procedures established by the management, affirming that this achievement is the result of teamwork and joint cooperation in reinforcing the values of giving.

He stated: “In line with our firm commitment to promoting the values of solidarity and compassion, and in reviving the noble Sunnah of performing the blessed sacrifice ritual, the Association has been keen to meet the needs of underprivileged families and the most deserving groups. In accordance with the mandate and the valuable trust entrusted to us by the donors, the Association distributed sacrificial meat, reaching a total of 15,200 beneficiaries within the country and more than 360,000 beneficiaries abroad

The Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association explained that the “Eid Clothing” initiative successfully brought joy and happiness to the hearts of 8,000 orphans, children from underprivileged families, and people of determination, in line with the association’s objectives of providing a dignified life for all.

Regarding the accompanying international development projects of the campaign, he noted the Association’s success in securing the necessary support to construct 145 mosques, dig 760 wells, and implement 745 water supply projects, as well as establish two integrated complexes. The efforts also included building 11 schools and Qur’an memorization centers, in addition to constructing 5 medical clinics and 84 housing units for underprivileged families. Furthermore, 12 specialized projects were implemented to support people of determination, alongside funding 2,212 diverse development initiatives. These leading humanitarian and development efforts benefited approximately 1.2 million people worldwide.

He concluded by renewing his appreciation for the people of generosity and benevolence in the United Arab Emirates, affirming that their generous contributions were the main driving force in turning the campaign’s objectives into tangible reality. He also noted that these contributions stand as a renewed testament to the deeply rooted values of compassion and human solidarity that distinguish Emirati society.
